1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information that Meridian Tech, Inc. (“Meridian,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses about individuals (“you” or “your”) who use our website (including https://trymeridian.com) and any online services or applications that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”). In this Policy, “personal information” means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Scope: This Privacy Policy covers personal information that Meridian collects in its role as a data controller – for example, information collected from visitors to our website or users of our own Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any personal information that we process on behalf of our customers in the course of providing our software-as-a-service platform. In those cases, we act as a data processor or service provider and process information only under our customer’s instructions and our contractual agreements with that customer. If you are using Meridian’s platform as an authorized user of a Meridian customer, you should refer to that customer’s privacy policies or notices for information about how your data is handled.

We may collect personal information about you from a variety of sources.
A. Personal Information You Provide to Us
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us. This may include, for example:
- Contact Information. When you inquire about our Services, sign up for a demo, register for an event or webinar, or otherwise interact with us, you may provide information such as your full name, work email address, company name, company size, and whether you represent an agency. You may also choose to provide additional details when communicating with us.
- Communications. If you contact us (for example, by email, through a contact form on the website, or by phone), we will collect the information you share, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message or any attachments you send. If you sign up for our newsletter or other updates, we collect your email address and any preferences you provide. We may use third-party service providers to manage and store these communications on our behalf. When we send emails, we (or our service providers) may use technologies like pixels or web beacons to gather data about email deliverability and engagement (e.g., whether you open our emails, click on links, etc.), as well as your general location and device information (described further below), to help us improve our communications and Services.
- Account Information. If you create an account on our platform, we will collect the information you provide during sign-up and account management. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and a password. You may also choose to upload a profile photo or other profile details, and if you create an organizational account or team, we will collect the organization name and any other details you provide for that profile.
- Careers. If you apply for a job with Meridian through our website or a third-party recruitment platform, you will provide your contact details and any information contained in your resume/CV (such as employment history, education, skills, etc.). We will use this information to evaluate your application and may keep it on file for a period of time consistent with hiring best practices and legal requirements.
- Payment Information. If you make a purchase or payment through our Services, you will provide payment information such as credit card details or other financial account data. We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle payment transactions. Your payment information is provided directly to these processors and is subject to their privacy policies (see Stripe’s privacy policy here: https://stripe.com/privacy); we generally do not receive or store full credit card numbers, though we may receive a record of the transaction (e.g., the last four digits of your card, billing name, expiration, and amount).
B. Personal Information We Collect When You Use Our Services
When you use or interact with our Services, we (and our service providers) automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of the Services:
- Location Information. We may infer your general geographic location (country, city, or region) based on your IP address when you use the Services. We do not typically collect your precise GPS location unless you expressly allow us to do so via your device settings.

- Vendors and Service Providers: We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services or to perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, data analysis, information technology and related infrastructure, customer service, email delivery, and marketing, analytics, or advertising services. - Business Transfers (M&A): If Meridian is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be transferred as part of such a transaction. 5. User Rights and Choices
Marketing Communications: You can opt out of our marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of the email or by contacting us at the email address provided below. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send you transactional or informational emails that are necessary for our ongoing business relationship (such as account notifications, security alerts, or billing communications).
Do Not Track Signals: “Do Not Track” (DNT) is a setting available in some web browsers that allows you to express a preference regarding tracking by websites. There is currently no industry standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, and we do not respond to them. Instead, we adhere to the privacy practices described in this Policy and provide the opt-out choices described here for Cookies and targeted advertising.
California Shine the Light Act: Residents of the State of California may ask us to provide them with a list of the types of personal information that we have disclosed during the preceding year to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, and the identity of those third parties. For all such requests, please indicate “CA Shine the Light” in the subject field of your request. You must also include your full name, street address, city, state, zip code and email address.

For interest-based advertising, you can use industry opt-out tools like the NAI or DAA opt-out pages. These opt-outs typically work by placing a cookie on your device that signals your opt-out preference, so if you clear Cookies you may need to opt out again.
6. Security
We take security seriously and implement a variety of technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS), regular security assessments, access controls to personal data, and employee training on data security. 8. Third Party Services
Our Services may contain links to websites, services, and applications that are operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected on or through any third-party websites or services, which have their own privacy practices. For example, if we post a link to a blog post on an external site, or you click a link to sign up for a webinar hosted by a partner, that site’s privacy policy will govern any data collected there. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites or services you interact with. Meridian is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third-party services.
9. Changes to Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. In some cases, we may (or as required by law, will) notify you about significant changes by additional means, such as prominently posting a notice on our website or sending you an email notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
